IACED issues RFP for Non-Profit Financial Management Training
The Indiana Association for Community Economic Development (IACED), a statewide association of more than 300 community development organizations, is accepting proposals for a one-time contract to develop and deliver a training curriculum on comprehensive financial management and analysis for non-profit organizations.
The training will be marketed to non-profit professionals in middle-level or high-level management positions and members of non-profit boards of directors; however, the training will ultimately be open to any and all registrants. Attendance of approximately 30 individuals is expected.
The training will be offered in mid- to late April 2011. Specific dates will be negotiated with the trainer(s) upon selection. Trainings are typically two days in length and scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, such is negotiable depending on the curriculum outlined in respondent’s proposal.
Funding for this workshop will be provided in part by a grant from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) through federal funds under the Affordable Housing Act of 1990, as amended, using HOME Investment Partnership Program funds allocated by HUD. The maximum budget for the entire training series is $20,000.
