A welcome to the new Executive Director!
The Board of Directors of the Indiana Association for Community Economic Development (IACED) is pleased to introduce Andy Fraizer as its new Executive Director. Mr. Fraizer was formerly Director of Community Development for the City of Indianapolis. He will assume his new duties on January 24, 2008.
IACED Mission and History
IACED, whose members are dedicated to improving lives through community economic development, works to strengthen both the industry and local organizations through capacity building, advocating for effective public policy, forming beneficial partnerships among members and delivering quality professional development services.
IACED was founded in 1986 to serve community development organizations working on behalf of disadvantaged and low-income populations in Indiana. Our member organizations rebuild distressed communities in rural, small city, and urban areas in Indiana through housing rehabilitation and construction; employment-generating activities; real estate development; industrial and small business development; and social services.
"IACED has been invaluable to our organization, providing support, training, advice and ideas that have gotten our programs up and running. " New Albany-Floyd County CHDO
